Mothers Day...

We hope all you lovely, special Mums had a wonderful day with your families. If that was not possible we hope you had a lovely day doing what you love. We had a great weekend in Robinvale at their annual Exhibition. Sorry I forgot the camera, so I don't have any photos for you. Although it is only a small exhibition it is very well worth a visit as their display is varied & very interesting. They had made dozens of black & white birds which were hung from the ceilings, adding to their black & white theme. Thanks again girls for inviting us & for the great time we had.

The Robinvale Patchwork Group are holding their annual Mothers Day Exhibition this weekend. We have been busy making new samples & packing up fabric ready for our visit. We always look forward to our visit to Robinvale. It is a lovely town on the banks of the Murray River & the Exhibition is held at an historical homestead with magnificent river views. The talented girls have a diverse display of patchwork & craft that they have done during the year, which is well supported by other patchworkers from around the area. We look forward to seeing you there.

Westalee Ruler Demo.......

A big thankyou to all the girls who came to the Westalee Ruler demonstration on Tuesday. A large crowd watched as Lee demonstrated the amazing rulers that make cutting fabric shapes a breeze. Hopefully we will be able to arrange for Lee to come back & conduct a class for us. Keep in touch those who are interested in exploring the many possibilities when using these rulers.

Westalee Ruler Demonstration.....

Cinderberry Stitches - Natalie's Workshop......

We are sorry to let you know that we have cancelled Natalie's workshop which was to held on Saturday. Maybe we will try and organise another date for those who have been disappointed. We were looking forward to her visit too.

Happy Birthday Quilters Harvest......

It is so hard to believe that it is 9 years since we started our shop. It is also hard to believe that we started with about 5 shelves of fabric. Now we are too afraid to count it. It has been an exciting journey & we have loved all the experiences along the way. Today we have been packing up stock to take to Heywood for the Green Triangle Day tomorrow. Up at 4.00am to drive there & set up. Look forward to seeing you there.
