Kerry's Workshop.......

It has been a busy week, making new shop samples, finishing our new Block of the Month & preparing for Kerry of "My Favorite Things" workshop. This is Kerry's fourth visit to our shop & the girls always enjoy her classes. They were all amazed at how easy fabric painting is, when you know how. Most of the girls finished painting their projects, with just the embroidery to do to give it the finishing touch.

Visit to Irymple.

We had a great day in Irymple last Saturday. The Embroidery Guild hosted the International Quilters Day and we were fortunate to be asked to take our shop. They conducted a very successful day with over 200 ladies registered, who enjoyed a day of guest speakers & a fashion parade of crocheted garments. We enjoyed meeting up with many ladies that we have come to know up that way. Look forward to going back again in June. See you all then.

Flood waters.....

We are thinking of all those people in Victoria, New South Wales & Queensland who are trying to save their homes & businesses from flood waters. It is so good to have the rain but unfortunately there has been a bit too much at once. We know how you feel because it is only 13months ago that we were sandbagging our homes here in Warracknabeal. Luckily we were spared any damage, thanks to the hard work of the community.
