New fabric......

It feels like Christmas whenever the freight man calls with another box. Last week he arrived with some fabrics from the beautiful sunkissed range. Here are the ones we have chosen. So fresh.....

 
 

Summer Bulbs....

 Shirley has been busy stitching this lovely quilt by Jennifer Knoll. 
She has chosen gorgeous aqua blues & bright pinks for variation. We think it looks great. patterns & kits are available, just give us a call.

Another new quilt sample on display at the shop is Winter Blooms by Gail Pan. We chose the Luna Notte range & was able to make most of this quilt from a jelly roll. We thought this was a great idea as all the 21/2" strips are already cut for all those dear little squares.

Shop news.....

We had a great couple of days at the Gift Fair last month. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the number of traders that suited our needs, but still managed to find some goodies to stock up before Mothers Day. Call in see what has arrived. Of course we also managed to find the BEST little restaurant where Shirley had this amazing prawn dish. It was soooo good that we went back the next day for some more, only to be told that they were off the menu. Having a weekend out & about in the city is just one of the advantages of being in this great business. In the mean time we have been busy stitching samples in preparation for our 2011 classes.
