Back to work......

Yes , we are back at work. We were open last week & it was great to see several people keen to get back to their stitching after the Christmas break. What a day it is today. Our area, the Wimmera is under a code red catastrophic fire warning. That means we must be alert to evacuate to a safe haven. The temperature at the moment is 43 degrees. Thank goodness for air conditioners.  Now, is a good time to sit in front of the TV with the Air con. on, watching a good game of tennis. There are so many great projects you can do without a lot of concentration. Catch up on the stitching blocks in that BOM that you have putting off or start using some of the scraps in the scrap box with the amazing English paper piecing shapes by "Patchwork with Busy Fingers".  Hope you all manage to keep cool & safe.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you all. We hope that it is a healthy & happy 2010. Shirley, myself & our hubbies got together with some friends to cheer in the New Year. It is always great to catch up with friends at this time of the year. We have had a little break from the shop since Christmas. Shirley has popped in briefly, between spending time at our recently filled Yarriambiack Creek, where she has been honing her water skiing skills. It will be back to work as usual next week. Look forward to a great year of stitching.
