Shirley is home after her holiday in New Zealand. Not to pass up an opportunity, she dropped in on a few patchwork shops while she was there. It is always good to see how other shops do things. We are working on samples for our new classes & the Newsletter will be out soon. Watch out for it in your letterbox. I will also try to link it to this site.
Its the start of Autumn today & what a beautiful day it is. As the Autumn leaves will soon turn colour & begin to fall I have decided that the price of fabric will fall too. Call into the shop to take advanatge of our "Start of Autumn Sale"
Shirl flew out to New Zealand yesterday for a well earned holiday. She has been feeling a little weary lately so we hope that she has a rest & a great time. True to form though, she packed her stitching. Just cannot waste a minute of the day. Fortunately they have planned to visit the North Island only. The damage & loss of life around Christchurch is devastating & our thoughts & prayers are with the people there. I had a customer in the shop last week who was born & bred in Christchurch & still has family there. Just shows that this tragedy has touched people everywhere.
